Mark your calendars!  Don’t forget the Annual Hawk Migration which can be seen in mid-Spetember at Pilot Moutain State Park.

Every autumn, Broad-winged hawks, traveling in “kettles” migrate an average of 4,350 miles to Central and South America!  On any given day between September 11th-30th, (weather permitting) we can see hundreds of migrating raptors.  Come visit any day between 10 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for the annual Hawk Migration to view these raptors in all their glory and join rangers and members of Forsyth Audubon!
